Ludwig is an anti-hero in a manga who is known for his womanizing ways and selfish actions. He is a prince from an unnamed kingdom and has a reputation as being a brat, narcissistic, and a skirt-chaser. People often call out to him saying "Hide the women!" when he's on the streets. Ludwig enjoys well-endowed beauties and chooses his potential brides based mostly on their bust size. He resembles his mother, Queen Amalberga, and is named after Jakob Ludwig Grimm. At just 19 years old, his nickname is Lui. One day, the king of Ludwig's kingdom becomes fed up with his behavior. While it's not that he's a pervert, the king warns him that if he continues to indulge in necrophilia and keeps his collection of female corpses, he won't be given the crown. As a result, Lui is sent on a disciplinary trip to find a princess to marry.
