Kubinashi is a Nura Clan yokai who has no neck and floats his head above his shoulders. As a human, he was a chivalrous thief similar to Robin Hood. After being killed by other yokais, he became one himself in order to seek revenge. He later joined the Night Parade and looked after Rikuo as a child, teaching him cat's cradle. Kubinashi was also friends with Kejoro before she turned into a yokai.
