Sanae Okouchi  

Sanae becomes Misaki's first true friend in Hohoro when they meet at school. At the time of their meeting, Sanae was a cheerful and imaginative individual who shared her excitement about Neo with Misaki. She convinced Misaki to take him home, where he would stay for some time. Sanae's family owned a dairy farm in Hohoro, and she had a younger brother whom she loved dearly. Despite this, Sanae was willing to steal clothes from her brother to give them to Neo. Additionally, she willingly kissed Neo to determine whether his kiss would trigger his transformation or if it belonged to someone else, not just Misaki.
