Arnaud G. Vasquez was a drifter who joined the military for an assignment to protect a special girl. He was discovered by Jude Maverick when the military launched its attack on Ciel's sub-orbital colony. After being detained for disobedience, he was released and mistakenly became involved in the battle to save the people of Ciel from Tony (Commander)'s ruthless tactics. As a result, he had no choice but to flee with Jude and Yulie and return to Filgaia.
