Hibari has recently started middle school and like many of her classmates, she desires the most popular toy this year, which is a Pata-pi. Despite not excelling academically or being particularly intelligent or athletic, Hibari is known for her friendly nature and thoughtfulness towards others. Her romantic interest lies in a "prince" that frequently appears in her dreams (the prince who gave her Densuke, her pata-pi). Hibaris father works in the robot industry while her mother is a computer programmer. As the only child in the family, she has been raised with both technological and creative influences.
