Cruz is unlike other characters in the story. While others are assertive and confident, Cruz has a more relaxed demeanor and lacks self-assurance. This makes him vulnerable to being dominated by Blade and Eve. However, he always tries to maintain an optimistic outlook on things. Despite not being able to fight, Cruz has been valuable in battles due to his analytical skills and ability to identify weaknesses in enemy tactics. He is commonly referred to as "Yamada" because Eve forgets his name.
