KOS-MOS is a fictional character from the Xenosaga video game series. She's an armored gynoid created by Vector Industries for strategic operations. Made entirely of mechanical parts and nanomachines, she follows logical, probabilistic rules to complete her missions. However, when Shion Uzuki's safety is threatened, KOS-MOS temporarily ignores these rules. Her development name was "KP-X," and she classifies herself as a "Special Humanoid Anti-Gnosis Annihilation Weapon." She has serial number "00-00-00-00-1" and is equipped with a Simulated Personality OS for communication. Despite this, KOS-MOS seems emotionless.
