Yuma is a young man who struggles with forgetfulness. He has always had a companion in the form of Shinku, a girl whom only he can see. In return for her presence, she grants him the ability to heal others' wounds, but at the cost of consuming his memories randomly. Yuma works as a nigashiya, where he helps people escape from their troubles by binding them in place under the guidance of Suzu, his teacher, and Shigure, the dorm manager. As time goes on, Yuma gets to know the girls living at the dorm and develops feelings for them.
