Duval  

Iron Mask, デュバル

Duval is an exceptionally large man who initially appeared wearing a medieval-style mask. standing tall, he measures around two and a half times the height of a typical person. despite having a muscular torso, he has thin arms and legs. his head and shoulders are covered in armor, while he wears an open leather jacket, black pants, cowboy boots, and a long fur cape underneath his iron mask. beneath the mask, duval resembles sanjis poorly drawn wanted poster, except for his downward-swirling eyebrow instead of sanjis upward-pointing one. this appearance caused him difficulties with marines and bounty hunters, prompting him to conceal his face in order to protect himself. although he sustained numerous injuries due to this, his most severe was a scar on his back which he claims is extremely painful. to seek revenge against sanji, duval confronted him. in response, sanji rearranged duval's entire facial structure with a series of violent kicks. the outcome was a complete makeover that transformed duval into an attractive and handsome man. however, despite his new appearance, duval struggles to wink properly as his eyes do not always synchronize.
