In the beginning, Oboro was an impulsive bandit chief who cared deeply for his younger sister Yuzuha. He would bring Tusukuru to oversee her health. When Hakuoro became the leader of the country's rebellion, Oboro joined forces with him and swore eternal allegiance, driven by revenge against Tusukuru. His companions Dorii and Guraa were always at his side, though their relationship as lord and vassal was never clarified. After the rebellion, Oboro became a general in the new country of Tusukuru and led a special forces unit of vagabond swordsmen from his old bandit fort. He frequently clashed with Kurou over military matters, providing comic relief. At mealtimes, Oboro detested eating vegetables so much that even consuming a small amount made him gag. His primary weapons were two katanas which he used in conjunction with his agility, making him a formidable fighter but relatively inexperienced compared to the other main and supporting characters.
