Alice L. Malvin  

The main female character of Pumpkin Scissors is a field leader and second-in-command with noble origins who graduated from military academy just before the ceasefire was announced during her graduation ceremony for officers. Despite being an inexperienced soldier, she has a strong sense of duty and justice that aligns with her family's military traditions, despite her father and sisters believing she should adopt more feminine behavior. She is currently heir to her family but will likely lose this position when her younger brother comes of age. Unlike her subordinates who use firearms in combat, Alice prefers a short-sword with her family crest engraved on it as her weapon of choice. However, she also has a special cavalry sword called Mahne that she uses to showcase her true skills in battle. She experiences chills on her neck when something significant is about to happen. Alice is engaged to Lionel Taylor but there are hints of feelings between her and Randel Oland throughout the series, particularly in episode 22.
