An ex-GPO agent and former officer named Doug is tasked with discovering information regarding Kurau. However, he becomes increasingly concerned about the situation when he realizes that neither the police nor his own questionable employers can be trusted. As a result, Doug begins to understand and relate to Kurau's predicament as she attempts to evade capture.
