Kycilia Zabi is the daughter of Degwin Sodo Zabi and has been identified in different sources as either the fourth or third child of Yoshikazu Yasuhiko's five children. In the novel version of MSG by Yoshiyuki Tominos, she was the youngest except for Garma among his siblings. However, in the ongoing Gundam The Origin manga by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, she is identified as his third child and older than her brother Dozle. Kycilia quickly adapted to the changing technology of the One Year War and became proficient in gathering intelligence for use against the Earth Federation. She was responsible for managing the Principality of Zeon's mobile suit forces and creating elite units such as Char Aznables 300th Independent Corps, Chimera Corps, and Midnight Fenrir covert ops team. Despite her ambiguous portrayal in both the main series and side stories surrounding the One Year War, Kycilia is shown to be fiercely loyal to the people of Zeon and those under her command. However, some of her actions can also be interpreted as those of a manipulative leader preparing for a military coup.
