One of the top officers in the Red Ribbon Army had a unique psychic ability known as Choryonku, which allowed him to temporarily paralyze people. This power was used by Blue during their fight, giving them an advantage. The officer encountered Goku multiple times and eventually stole a Dragon Radar from him. When he returned to the army's headquarters, Commander Red congratulated him on finding the radar but also emphasized that his main mission was to collect the Dragon Balls. People were executed for failing in this task. Blue became frightened until Red assured him that since he had served the army well in the past and if he defeated Tao Pai Pai, he would have a chance to redeem himself. Tao Pai Pai ultimately killed Blue by pressing his tongue on a pressure point on Blues temple. It is mentioned that Blue does not enjoy the idea of Bulma or females.
