Robin Knight is both father and grandfather of Kevin Mask. He was also the son of Robin Grande and father of Robin Mask. Although he appears strict and inflexible, his prejudice against humans may stem from his desire to maintain his Choujin status for his son. Despite limited appearances due to Robin's early training with other trainers, their relationship seems strained because of this difference in upbringing compared to other choujins who were typically trained by family members.
