Arisu is an exceptionally gifted Angel-builder who assists her sister in crafting Angels. She follows suit as a skilled Kung Fu practitioner and produces highly robust and nimble angels. Despite not constructing Angels for herself, it suggests that she may lack proficiency in guiding them. Arisu designed Mao and Unpyo to surpass Suzuka's strength but Unpyo was defeated by Suzuka in a matter of seconds, causing great embarrassment to her and her sister. Following the sabotage of Hikaru with a transmitter, Arisu is apprehended by Ohjiro Mihara and learns that Angelic Layer represents true talent and anyone can excel, compelling her to abandon cheating in order to triumph. She is highly sensitive about the Angels she creates and accuses her sister of disliking the ones she produced after their loss to Hikaru. Near the conclusion of the anime, Arisu constructs a balance-oriented Angel for herself called Alice and pledges to best Hikaru in an amicable battle. In the final credits, Arisu is depicted engaging in combat with the Queen of Angels using Alice.
