Maris attends school in Kaiou City where she grew up. Although her family owns a business, they are not wealthy or well-known like many other families at the school. When Maris passed the entrance exam, her parents were thrilled and made sacrifices to send her there. Despite being introverted, Maris spends more time helping Gen take care of the gardens than socializing with classmates.
