Takumi is Yuis 15-year-old childhood friend and a 3rd year middle school student. Hes blunt but takes care of people. His family runs a guest house.

Takumi is suspicious about Rosemary after seeing him with Yui every time an Ubauzo appears. He feels the need to protect Yui from danger, but hesitates after remembering his fathers words, and feeling embarrassed about the costume hell have to wear. Takumi also notices that he and Rosemary both have a Delicious Stone.In order to protect Yui from the Bundle Gang he transforms into Black Pepper, a Cook Fighter.
