Rei is a girl who has a heart but appears cold and unfeeling. Out of all the girls in class 1-C, she stands out as being the most mature. Rei uses threats of physical harm to maintain order in school, targeting Himeko frequently. She's also responsible for putting Becky in her place when she misbehaves and luring her out from behind the curtain with candy after scaring her. Despite her cold exterior, Rei has a high GPA and works four days per week at a Chinese restaurant. Although she may seem uninterested in others, Rei often teaches Becky important moral lessons. Additionally, Rei has shown herself to be greedy, as during the school festival, she tried to make their classroom popular so that she could profit from it, although her plans ultimately failed since all profits went to charity.
