Arietta is a shy girl who grew up with Ligers after losing her parents in a tidal wave that destroyed Feres Isle. She has since mastered controlling monsters and animals for combat. Her expertise lies in dark-based fonic artes, including Bloody Howling and Negative Gate, as well as defensive spells like Barrier and Sharpness on her monster companions during battles. In the last two battles, players can obtain Time-Traveling Girl and Rare Genius accessories for Anise. Arietta was previously the Fon Master Guardian of Ion and is bitter towards Anise for "taking" Ion from her. She seeks revenge on Luke's party, whom she refers to as "Mommy," for killing the Liger Queen early in the game.
