Canaan is the main character in the series, a skilled mercenary currently working in Shanghai. She was the only survivor of her village that was destroyed by war in the Middle East and was later found and trained by Siam. During her training, she developed mutual respect for her mentor but became consumed with revenge after he was killed by Alphard. As an elite mercenary, Canaan is a skilled marksman and expert in combat. She possesses synesthesia, which allows her to concentrate and combine her senses as a radar to locate others, hack into mechanical systems, and dodge/deflect bullets easily. However, overusing this ability can lead to exhaustion and collapse. Canaan has blond hair and hazel eyes but turns red when using synesthesia. She lived in isolation for most of her life until she met Maria Ōsawa, her first friend in years. Despite her cold-blooded nature, Canaan values Marias safety above all else and is willing to ruthlessly kill anyone who poses a threat to Maria. While enjoying going out with Maria and living a normal life, Canaan also treasures these moments.
