Teru is a 14-year-old Japanese girl who attends junior high school. Her favorite character is Nvillo, whom she calls Ebio. In the first chapter of the story, Teru successfully rescues all riders on a malfunctioning roller coaster. However, one of the riders, Koishikawa Iko, suffers critical injuries despite her efforts. This incident causes many people to blame Shy for Iko's injuries, leading Teru into a state of depression and anxiety. She is unable to transform into Shy for a month as a result, causing her public image to deteriorate further. It wasn't until she came across a burning hotel building and overheard Koishikawa's little brother demanding that they let him save the people inside that Teru was able to snap out of her mental state. The boy's words reminded her that being a hero meant protecting others, regardless of fear. This motivated Teru to transform back into Shy and jump into the building to rescue those trapped inside.
