You hazuki is an energetic thirteen-year-old girl who moves to tokyo from a rural area with her father, toshihiko, to attend school. with exceptional jumping abilities, she loves playing volleyball and dreams of being part of japan's national women's volleyball team in the 1988 seoul olympics. she joins her school's girls' volleyball team and quickly becomes one of its top players.
