In the narrative, there's a spirit named Mina who serves as protector of an old residence that was purchased by Reiji at the beginning of the story. Due to accumulated energy over time, she retains the ability to maintain her human form for extended periods. At first, Mina is restricted to remaining within the house, but once Reiji discovers his family heirloom in the basement, she's able to venture outside freely by carrying it with her.
