In episode 7, Tomayo battles Misaki. Her angel's name is Tsubaki. Due to her parents working late and her sick brother, she was unable to spend time with friends outside. After her brother recovered, he informed her that even though he got better, she still lacked friends. However, after losing her battle against Misaki, Tomayo became angry but Misaki reassured her that she had enjoyed playing against her, leaving her smiling as she discovered a new friend. The final scenes of the episode show Tomayo's brother expressing his intention to join Angelic Layer and play with her, providing her with someone to spend time with.
