The protagonist of the series is named marie. initially, she was not fond of humans due to her prolonged stay in an elven forest. however, over time, she grew accustomed to kazuhiro's somewhat airheaded personality. after being transported to modern japan and back through his ability to travel between worlds, marie discovered that she enjoyed the trips and became enamored with japanese cuisine and culture.
