In the Jujutsu Kaisen series, Uraume is a recurring antagonist known as a curse user from ancient times who serves directly under Sukuna. They joined forces with Kenjaku to imprison Satoru Gojo and resurrect Sukuna. Despite being human, they have been loyal to Sukuna for over a millennium due to their exceptional culinary skills, which are highly valued by the sorcerer king. While Sukuna consumes people, cooking them presents challenges. Among those with such experience, Uraume stands out as an exceptionally skilled cook.

Uraume has been by Sukunas side since a thousand years ago. They are a human and sorcerer and are allowed to stand beside Sukuna because Uraume is very talent at cooking people, which Sukuna eats.
