Theresia van Astrea's father was Veltol Astrea. Although born into the Astrea family, he did not receive divine protection like the Sword Saint. After surviving the Demi-Human war, he lost function in one arm due to a curse from Stride. Later, during an attack by Stride Vollachia on the Astrea House, Veltol protected Theresia and Tishua from Carol Remendis' assassin blade, which was controlled by Stride, resulting in his death.
