The protagonist in Kaleido Star is named Sora. Her parents brought her to Kaleido Stage as a child, but they passed away soon after. Following their demise, Sora lived with her aunt and uncle. Despite this, memories of her childhood at the stage inspired her to pursue membership there when she grew up. Although her relatives were hesitant about it, Sora decided to travel to the United States for an audition.
