Chise's childhood friend has a close relationship with the umenomori family and appears to be a refined lady. unlike chise, she uses "-sama" when addressing others. in the anime, she discovers takumi unconscious in the mountains and rescues him from getting soaked during rainfall. although she pretends to be lost, it later becomes clear that she is well-acquainted with the area, for reasons not yet explained.
