Beatrix is an infamous commander of the Stasi TSF battalion "Werewolf," known for her ruthless suppression of anti-government rioters and potential rebellions. She was once friends with Irisdina, but they had a strong rivalry. Currently, she's field testing the next-generation Soviet TSF--the MiG-27--and setting in motion events that will bring more power to the Stasi. In contrast to the visual novel, Beatrix in the anime is portrayed as a sadistic sociopath who enjoys causing pain and death to others. This includes scenes like the anime original mass execution, where she smirks viciously while her victims' viscera splashes on her face. She also took pleasure in torturing Marai and Lise's mental turmoil over her brother and other Werewolves' deaths. Beatrix was only happy when others suffered.
In the visual novel, Beatrix detests Axmann and Schmidt and avoids them whenever possible, sometimes even disobeying their orders if she can. However, in the anime, she has a good working relationship with them and acts as their willing attack dog.
Unless dealing with Irisdina, Beatrix in the visual novels remained calm and collected. She was somewhat detached and cool during her final battle with Theodor, and even right before her death, smiled serenely at the incoming CIWS. In the anime however, she devolves into a snarling, bloodthirsty berserker, and uses her last moments after being mortally wounded to taunt Theodor.
Beatrix kills Erich Schmidt after she finds out Schmidt is a KGB agent who was using East Germany for the Soviets benefits. She then becomes the de facto leader of the Stasi.
She is killed by Theodor during the coup detat to remove the Stasi from power.
