Ai Kunugi  

Some time after her sister's suicide following an accidental murder of her infant niece, Ai Kunugi sought out Misaki Saikis help. The babys death was blamed on the mother, but Ai knew it was actually her sisters boyfriend, a yakuza boss named Kago, who was responsible. However, after the incident, Ai discovered that she too had the ability to see and communicate with the dead like Misaki. Although Ai looked up to Misaki as a very brave girl, Misaki wanted the girl to ignore the many deceased spirits that Ai encountered. Meanwhile, Ai is also a classmate of Mitsuru Fujiwara, the young boy who is stalking Misaki.
