Akane is a high school freshman who possesses cheerful and direct personality traits. She gets summoned into the world of Kyō, where she becomes known as Ryūjin no Miko. As the only person capable of communicating with the Ryūjin, she uses her powers to defeat onryōs released by the Oni Clan in Kyō. Despite this, Akane falls in love with Akuram.
