In the past, En received One For All from Daigoro Banjo after being injured and trapped under rubble. Daigoro extended his hand to give En the quirk by allowing him to consume his blood. Later on, All For One tried to steal One For All from En but failed. As the sixth user, En met Nana Shimura and gave her some of his hair so she could become the seventh heir of the One For All Quirk after being fatally wounded in battle with All For One.
