Peepi and Koinzell were being questioned by authorities when their friend, who was also a smuggler and acquainted with Altea, arrived to help them out. After the destruction of Heavens Lance, this friend escaped with them to the Empire. He later saved Princess Sharen from Schtemwolech, one of the Seven Heroes. Although he decided not to follow Koinzell after that incident, he promised to assist him whenever necessary in the future.
