Kenji Harima

Kenji Harima is the main character in this story. He was once a delinquent but now he loves Tenma. Despite not practicing any specific martial arts style, few can match him in hand-to-hand combat. Harima has an ability to communicate with animals and owns many exotic pets that he named after European monarchs. His little brother Shuuji likes Yakumo. Harima often struggles to confess his feelings for Tenma because she doesn't seem interested in him, but every time he tries, something prevents him from succeeding. He also has difficulty dealing with Eri, who is unsure of her feelings towards him. Harima gets jealous when he sees Karasuma and Tenma together, but his attempts to stop them usually only bring them closer. Harima admires the mangaka Nijō jō, which is Karasumas pen name. To this day, Tenma has not heard his confession properly. Additionally, Harima works as a mangaka with Yakumo as his assistant, creating more misunderstandings since it took a while for Tenma to realize their relationship was only professional.
