Nobiru Nobi is Tamako's father-in-law and also Nobitas paternal grandfather. He was the husband of Nobitas grandmother and the father of Nobirou and Nobisuke Nobi. Although Nobitas father was young when he passed away, Nobiru Nobi had a significant impact on him during his childhood. Nobiru Nobi appears in only a few episodes but is remembered fondly by Nobita and Doraemon. They meet him in the past using a time machine and witness firsthand how much he loves his son. Despite this, he does not express his affection openly to avoid spoiling him.
