Yuuna is an 7-year old second grader who attends elementary school on Izayoi Island in Okinawa. She learns and practices karate as part of her daily routine. Despite facing minor challenges living with her grandmother Obaa, Yuuna leads a relatively normal life. One day, while exploring the island, she encounters an unusual being from outer space named Stitch.
