Metagross is a massive robotic Pokémon with a turquoise disc-shaped body and four legs that appear to serve as both head and body. It has a metallic cross on its face, with two red eyes peering out from either side. Its legs are joined to the main body by ball-and-socket joints, with three short claws on each end and a flat protrusion over the knee. Metagross can tuck in its legs to float in the air. As Mega Metagross, it gains four arms on the back of its head, with a pale gold cross turning into a goatee-like feature. It also has two small holes and a spike below the cross.
Metagross is created by fusing two Metang together, giving it four brains in total, all connected by a complex network of neurons. This makes it highly intelligent, capable of performing complex calculations and analyzing opponents during battles. Its incredible strength allows it to pin down victims using its claws and body, chew them up with its large mouth and teeth, and use psychic power for powerful attacks.
Metagross can be found on rough terrains and in snowy mountains where the magnetic powers become stronger in freezing temperatures. Mega Metagross is achieved by linking a Metagross, a Metang, and two Beldum together. Its multiple brains process information simultaneously, enabling it to calmly assess the tide of a battle and defeat its opponent with accuracy. It also uses psychic power for powerful attacks, with claws that are hard as steel and can easily smash even large chunks of rocks.
Mega Evolution stimulates Metagross's multiple brains and increases its intelligence, making it a ruthless combatant that will stop at nothing to achieve victory. If victory is deemed impossible, it may attempt to dig its claws into its opponent and prepare to explode.
