Sunao is a high school student with a strong personality who has always dreamed of becoming an actress. Her family moved to a new town because of her mother's work as an actress, and she was inspired by seeing her perform once when she was younger. On her first day at her new school, Sunao wanted to join the drama club but learned that it did not exist yet. This made her determined to start one as soon as possible. However, she found it harder than expected. During her first performance on stage when she was young, she experienced stage fright, but a little boy who was also in the play helped her overcome it by saying "daikon" meaning poor actor which earned him a slap in the face. On her first day at school, Sunao recognized Leo as the little boy who had helped her during her first play and reminded her of the phrase daikon.
