Sunako, the main character of the series, is a solitary Gothic individual who enjoys watching horror movies. Prior to encountering a cruel remark from a crush that made her feel unattractive, she was an ordinary girl. Now, she finds refuge in the dimly lit corners of her room with her collection of horror memorabilia, including an anatomical model named Hiroshi-kun. Despite this, Sunako's aunt forces her to share a home with four handsome young men known as "Creatures of Light." Although they are physically stunning, their kindness and friendship help her see the beauty within them, ultimately leading her to accept them for who they truly are.
