The director of Shiros law firm specializes in bankruptcy law and established the Kamimachi Law Office alongside her husband, who was also a lawyer. However, he passed away shortly after from a subarachnoid hemorrhage at his funeral, Yoshie's mother-in-law criticized her for working instead of being a devoted housewife who would have paid more attention to her husband's health. Despite this, Yoshie continued practicing law and raised her son Osamu on her own. Although she has a strained relationship with her daughter-in-law Haruna, who is a housewife, Yoshie does not interfere much in their lives as her apartment is only a 10-minute walk away from her sons family's home.
