Yuzuriha, a fourteen-year-old schoolgirl from the Mitsumine Jinja family, who are keepers of inugami (dog spirits), descended from Heaven. She is known for her energy and ability to diffuse tension between Kamui and others. Her personal inugami, Inuki, can transform into anything she desires and is only visible to those with occult powers. Despite being teased as an imaginary friend by her classmates due to Inuki's invisibility, Yuzuriha made a vow not to fall in love with or date anyone who couldn't see Inuki. However, the first person outside of her family that she met who could see Inuki was Shiyū Kusanagi, a Dragon of Earth, and despite their conflicting fates, Yuzuriha fell deeply in love with him.
