In the 287th hunter examination on zevil island, there was a participant named kyuu who was number #105. he made it through to the 4th phase of the examination with 23 other examinees. during this phase, pokkle targeted and paralyzed him with one of his poisoned arrows. gon then bandaged him up and moved him to a safe location until the effects of the poison wore off. kyuu later reappeared in the 288th hunter examination but unfortunately failed after being knocked out by killua.
