Yumi is a student at the school where Sei attends. She sings in the choir and is known as Rosa Canina due to her love for dogs. Yumi meets Sei without realizing that she was running against Yamayurikai in an election. Though Yumi admires Sei greatly, she never tells Sei about her feelings because she knows it will be rejected. Later, Yumi becomes interested in Shimako, possibly due to wanting to know more about the girl whom Sei chose as her sister. In confrontation with Sei, Yumi learns that Shizuka would not have preferred to be her sister and wanted something different from Sei. After finishing her second year at Lillian, Yumi leaves for Italy to pursue a singing career. During a school trip to Italy, Yumi meets Shimako again and takes the other second-year girls sightseeing.
