Arnold Neumann  

The ranking non-commissioned officer of Earth Alliance's warship Archangel, who survived the initial attack on Heliopolis, assumes command as pilot after Neumann departs. Despite being reserved and often overlooked by his more flamboyant superiors, he rises to the occasion when the ship is trapped at Artemis space fortress and successfully frees it from captivity.
