A freshman at Kasamatsu Training Academy, which is also where Oguri attends, is a 148cm tall individual with chestnut hair (brown hair and eyes). She wears twin "B" hairpins in her hair. Initially intrigued by Oguri, who was seated beside her in class, Ogumiya invited her to be his teammate. She is affectionately known as " Bell" by Kitahara and " Berno" by Ogumiya. Her parents own a store that specializes in horse equipment, giving her extensive knowledge about shoes and horseshoes. As such, she takes it upon herself to adjust Ogumiya's shoes.
When Oguri moved to the Central Tracen Academy, Berno transferred with her to learn as a support uma musume.
