In his childhood years, shiki met a lady who later became known as "teacher." at the time, he was still under hospital care and recovering from an accident that granted him special powers. these abilities allowed him to see lines that others couldn't, but he struggled to control them properly. teacher gave him a pair of glasses that blocked these lines from his vision. however, she also imparted upon shiki the importance of using his powers for good and not harming others. she taught him to use his "mystic eyes" with care and compassion, always keeping in mind those he loved. despite her tough exterior, teacher was a kind-hearted person who deeply cared for her students. teacher is actually a mage from the mages association, one of the five great magic users still alive. she goes by the nickname "magic gunner, miss blue," which strikes fear into the hearts of those who hear it. however, her true powers remain a mystery to many. what is known is that she possesses a sister named touko, whose glasses were stolen and given to shiki. teacher has had a significant impact on shiki's life, not only by providing him with the tools he needed to control his abilities but also by instilling in him a strong sense of morality and purpose. he holds her in high regard and considers her one of the most important figures in his life.
