Hinata possesses an exceptional talent for jumping. From a young age, he trained his legs to compensate for his lack of height. As a member of Karusuno High School's Volleyball team, Hinata amazed everyone with his natural aptitude as a spiker. Despite being new to the sport and having no prior experience playing on a team, Hinata quickly improved through each match.
Hinata is known for his outgoing personality and charm. He has a talent for persuading others and often uses this skill to win people over, such as Nishinoya. Hinata gets easily excited and tends to speak loudly, making him the loudest member of the team after Nishinoya and Tanaka. Despite his friendly demeanor, Hinata is highly competitive, especially when it comes to volleyball. As Sugawara noted, Hinata possesses a great deal of resilience and determination to win, which makes him an formidable opponent in any match, whether it's practice or a competition.
Hinata can also display a fierce and intimidating expression when he feels underestimated. However, despite this, he is easily frightened by larger and stronger opponents. Nevertheless, Hinata quickly recovers from these fears and confidently challenges his adversaries.
