In the anime, it is mentioned that Sumomo was an exceptional Stellar Spinner who could capture three stardrops at once on her first day in the human world with just one spell. Following her arrival in the human realm, she fell deeply in love with a man despite their forbidden relationship. Eventually, she left Figurare and gave birth to Sumomo before relocating to America as a fashion designer. There, she earned money to support her family. Later on, she created or sent her old uniform to her daughter so that she could use it.
